The Scorpio Key Description Name: Erinyes Physical Description: Physique: Sleekly muscled, like a swimmer or dancer. Manner of movement is efficient, precise, with no wasted motion, but also exquisitely graceful. Stronger than he looks. Heals remarkably quickly and without scarring. Special Note (1): Has two extremely beautiful dragon tattoos on his torso which only appear when sexually aroused. The tattoo on the front of his body is a Western-style dragon (with wings) in profile -- emerald and onyx scales with a metallic sheen, with the dragon's head and body coiled on his chest, while the tail trails down his groin, loops around his testicles and ends up coiled around his penis. The tattoo on the back of his body is an Eastern-style dragon (no wings) -- iridescent black scales, with the dragon's head and looped body lying directly over his spine, while the long serpentine tail extends downward, circles once around his body just above the hips, then descends between his buttocks and ends at his anus. The tattoos first appear semi-transparent in the early stages of arousal, then increase in vividness and realism until at the point of orgasm, the tattoos almost seem to come to life and move (on some occasions frightening unsuspecting Masters -- one even claimed that the tattoos actually spoke to him) Special Note (2): Does not communicate verbally in speech or writing, but is not mute or deaf. Fully capable of making non-verbal sounds (purrs, growls, screams, etc.) and has excellent hearing. Erinyes is highly intelligent, very literate, and understands numerous languages (both spoken and written). However, he is completely incapable of communicating with words (either in speech or writing). His use of sign language is rather limited -- while he is very expressive and can communicate general concepts very well through gestures and non-verbal sounds, he cannot spell out words or construct sentences in any way, even using sign language. Efforts to do so appear to cause him actual physical and mental pain. Lifestyle: Personality: Because of his condition, Erinyes has become highly attuned to the subtleties of non-verbal communication such as body language -- to the point that some Masters think that he's psychic. However, he is simply very observant. Under most circumstances, he is obedient and fully compliant to his Master's wishes. Even if he doesn't like the Master, he enjoys the company of others and the physical pleasure they usually provide -- it's better than being left alone and isolated. After numerous years as a Key, he's learned to be accepting of many things. However, he still retains a charmingly wicked sense of humor, sharp but not malicious, which he conveys quite well through gestures and body language, despite being unable to talk. If pressed beyond his considerable tolerance, Erinyes can be absolutely ruthless and in certain cases, deadly. Erinyes generally remains emotionally detached from his Masters, choosing to channel all his passionate energy into physical gratification (of himself and his Master). However, when he does become emotionally involved, it tends to be to extremes -- either in love or hatred, and sometimes both at once. Experience/Training: History: Erinyes was initially wild with rage and grief over his lover's betrayal. However, since he understood all too well the prince's motives both for keeping him silent and for keeping him alive, Erinyes appears to have come to terms with his fate. Room: A large indoor pool occupies one room and serves as the general bathing area. The pool is fed by several carved stone columns that serves as fountains, gushing forth water of various temperatures. There is no bed, but many of the divans are suitable for sleep or other activity. Erotic devices and gear are readily available, but discreetly stored out of sight in built-in cabinets. The equally spacious exterior spaces have a decided austere and naturalistic feel, combining small rock gardens with mossy wooded walkways that wander amid small cascading brooks and ponds filled with carp. Scattered around the area are clearings containing wooden poles or other structures used for martial arts training.
