The Cancer Key Description

Name: Shudoshi

Appearance: Long blue-violet hair that he keeps in a low ponytail, and gigantic dark brown eyes. Tall, and fairly well muscled. Usually wears tight faded jeans and a loose T-shirt that says "Chaos, Panic, Disorder. My work here is DONE!" He refuses to wear shoes, and only wears underwear if it's silk. He's always smiling.

Hobbies: Practical jokes of all kinds, researching Japanese religion (hence the name 'Shudoshi', which means 'monk'), and singing.

Personality: Shudoshi is a upbeat and cheerful person by nature. He's also a complete goof and is totally proud of it. Nothing keeps him down for long. He enjoys making people laugh and having loads of fun. He's got a passion for any type of practical joke, and when he can't find someone to practice on, he sets them on himself. At one point, he filled the swimming pool with lime jello, just to get a rise out of the palace. He's VERY experienced, and probably one of the most experienced keys there is.

He's not body-shy by any means, and will sometimes spend hours walking around without clothes on. He's willing to try anything once. More if he likes it. And most of the time, he does. It doesn't matter to him who's on top. He's also completely memorized the Kama Sutra, and keeps a copy of it in his room just in case he thinks he forgot something. However, he can also act the older brother, should the master just want company or cuddling.

He's incredibly intelligent, and enjoys having long and deep discussions about just about anything. He has a strong sense of right and wrong, and doesn't like to hurt people. He also doesn't like people who purposely hurt others. His dislike rarely shows directly, but the more humiliating the joke played on the person, the more Shudoshi doesn't like him/her.

He's honest and caring, and can be very protective of an owner, and he's had several. If asked, he will sing for a master. His singing is his life, and when told not to sing, he gets sulky for about twenty minutes, which is an eternity to Shudoshi. He's only gotten truly angry once, and that resulted in the death of one of his more abusive owners. Under the smiling surface, however, there are a few little fears. He's not terribly fond of spiders, he hates dogs, and privately thinks that while he can get friends by the score, he'll never be worthy of genuine love.

Room: The room itself is circular and has a high domed ceiling. In the walls are little alcoves, each with a ton of multi-colored pillows to sit and lie on. The walls are painted to resemble a beach, along with things like fish, starfish, and of course, crabs. The rug is a soft, comfortable beige, and is just fine for lying on. The center of the room holds a large bunk bed with white silk sheets and a dark blue satin comforter on each bunk. The bed is designed so that the lower one is larger, should the owner want to be with Shudoshi, and the top one is smaller, if the owner wants to sleep alone.

The ceiling has thousands of glow-in-the-dark stars pasted to it, so that it's like looking into a night sky when the lights are turned off. There are windows all around the room, and a pair of bookcases along the back wall, filled with books from every subject that might be interesting, including Shudoshi's copy of the Kama Sutra and his books on Japanese religions. One panel of the wall gives way to reveal a shelf of 'toys'. The bathroom is in another little alcove, the only one that has a curtain. It's done in shades of dark and light blue, decorated with silver crabs.
