The year is 2005. At approximately fourteen thousand years ago, an ancient city lived long before known civilization started. It was an island nation, the cradle of civilization. While men were still living in caves, the people of this city were building cities of carved stone and marble. They inspired myths and legends. They were the people of Atlantis. Eleven thousand years ago, Atlantis was destroyed by a great cataclysm. Those who survived were displaced scientists in an era when such knowledge was dangerous. They sought to find a place in that primitive world, creating the guise of pagan cults to disguise the knowledge and abilities others called magic. In time, even their cults could not shield them from harm. Perceived as witches and wizards, the people of Atlantis banded together. Seven thousand years ago, they came to a mountaintop in Incas, a place where they could be free from persecution, free to establish a culture based on the exploration of the mysteries of nature, a place called Avallon… In the next century, the people of Avallon decided to pursue greater ambitions. They longed for immortality and revenge on the out worlders who had persecuted them without searching for truth. Through the next twenty years the people of Avallon disbanded into two sides. The ones who try to live harmoniously albeit in secret with the people from the out world and the ones who pursued the call of power, greed and immortality. The former group flourished into new society where people have managed to reach and exceed the laws of evolution. They are the people of Amaryllis… However, amidst the chaos that raged between the two higher classes of human race, there is still hope…
