The Key of Pride Description

Trained by Tenchi Kaze (tenchikaze@gmail.com)

Code Name: Charon

Real Name: Unknown

Age: Nobody knows. He appears to be about twenty-ish or so, but his age is one of the things he is restricted to tell people.

Appearance: Has a thick, flowing mane of long purplish-black hair to his butt, normally tied back in a black thong to keep it out of his eyes (though a few stubborn locks refuse to stay tied and so frame the sides of his face.) He is quite tall, and is very strong and limber thanks to all his special training. His eyes are hazel, which can alternate between a lively and cocky amberish-hazel and a cold, indifferent and dull hazel. Tattooed on his left shoulder are the words, "Government property. Do not handle without authorization."

Clothing: When he has a Master, he wears a long, heavy black cloak that covers everything except his head. Underneath this is nothing but a revealing leather thong, but it is a modified thong; it is equipped with a holster for his gun on the right side. When he has no Master, the agency prefers him to be dressed in a standard suit: white shirt, black tie, black jacket, black pants. He rather likes this outfit too, as the form fitting jacket tends to show off his slender and delectable curves.

Talents: Charon was brought up to be the perfect assassin, and thus is quite good with a great number of weapons as well as several martial arts. His preferred method of taking out targets is with guns, and one can plainly see that he was born to pull a trigger. And he knows this too. More on that in "Personality."

Personality: As said before, Charon is a good shot and he knows it. In fact, if you aren't on his target list, he will most likely be talking your ear off about how good he is with a gun. He brags about every aspect of it from being able to hit a dime from 100 yards, right down to being able to switch the safety off in less than a millisecond. Of course, some of the things he tells people are exaggerated, but the things he tells do all have some root in truth, so it wouldn't be wise to underestimate him just because he's cocky.

His gunmanship isn't the only thing he's proud of. He believes that if he were a proper Key, Masters would be swarming to his room to get a piece of him. Yup, he's that vain. Despite being told time and time again that an assassin has no need for worrying about appearance beyond what is necessary for cover, he still spends hours every day in front of the mirror, posing, playing with his hair, and otherwise primping.

When he is about to take out a target or is practicing for when he has a target, Charon seems to do a complete 180. He becomes creepily focused, and is quieter than a vacuum as he aims and shoots with swift and deadly accuracy. However, straight afterward, he is back to his regular self: overly prideful, self-centered, vain, and sarcastic.

Background: Charon remembers nothing before waking up in the agency headquarters at the age of twelve, and has been working as a killer for them ever since. His position in the Palace is an important one, as many figureheads in crime visit the place frequently, thus giving Charon an excellent undercover position. Whenever there is a particular person the agency wants Charon to take out, someone gets in touch with the target and tells him/her about a secret Key that only a select few ever hear about, the Pride Key. Naturally, this waters his/her appetite and they want to hear more, eventually getting hooked into having the agent in disguise "lending" the target the room's Key. Once the target is in the Pride suite, Charon has two methods that he likes to alternate between. Upon evaluation the target based on information he is sent beforehand and a visual assessment, he will either shoot them on the spot, or play with them for a while, luring them close to him with all the seduction he can until he can blast them through the head at point blank range.

Room: There isn't much to Charon's room at all. The walls are white, the floor is white, the ceiling is white, everything is white except for the odd painting here and there placed in the room both as hidden cameras and to give the place a little color. The only piece of furniture in this small room is a bed big enough for two, and in contrast with everything else, is black all over.

There is a door on the far right that leads into the bathroom, where Charon spends almost half his day nearly every day. It too is white like the main room, and there is a large tub with jet functions, a large vanity mirror, a cabinet full of hair and face care supplies, and a
secret compartment in the wall where Charon stores his guns and bullets.

The other door on the far left of the main room is one that can only be opened from the other side, and it is connected to the agency HQ. This door is usually only opened when Charon is going to be given a briefing about his next target.
