The Key of Sloth Description Trained by Moonshadow D'tarth Name: Nemo Hawthorn Physical Description: Nemo is short, about 5'6, and ranges from thin to gaunt, depending on whether or not he's just had an "episode." When healthy he eats well and so weighs enough to look appealing to most people who like short and pretty. His hair is red, just past shoulder length and curls impressively. His eyes are a warm brown and he has a smattering of freckles across his pale, slightly round face. When ill he immediately gains dark bruises under them and a very unhealthy skin tone. He wears long, loose tunics in rich colours and sandals. Nothing on his legs. He's forever ready to be tucked into bed at a moment's notice. Background: Nemo has catalepsy. It's not a terribly severe case, but at least twice a year he's prone to falling into a comatose state and lying there as if dead, sometimes for as long as a month. His parents, unable to handle the strain of not knowing whether their child was living or not, sold him to the Palace so that he would be well cared for. Unfortunately his catalepsy has a habit of kicking in at high stress points, so while his episodes are infrequent, they normally start in the middle of sex. He's scared the wits out of several Masters. When he's awake, he's a curious, if slightly morbid boy. Due to his case, he has a border line obsession with mental illness and psychology and has a tendency to stare at people, trying to figure out what they're thinking. He likes Masters that seem a bit unpredictable, and the one time he was nearly raped, he actually enjoyed the process of talking his attacker out of the act. Even with sex, there's a clinical, detached air about him. He tends to see people as things to be studied. Room: Nemo's room is very soft. EVERYTHING is padded, from the floor to the walls. It's like living in a world of marshmallows. Of course, it's all protection in case he has an episode and falls over, but a new Master might think they've wandered into a kid's room. The colours are even whites and creams and yellows. He's not particularly fond of the colour scheme, but he has a fondness for jumping on the little round cushions he was given to sit on when no one's around.
