Physical Description: The most striking thing about Diego is his eyes which are a striking, almost electric green. The rich, olive colour of his skin simply brings them out more and is offset by pure white, jaw length hair. He dresses in jeans and t-shirts, normally with catchy, political slogans on them. His right ear is pierced, but all in all, outside of his colouring, you wouldn't think twice of him selling you something at a reasonably respectable store.

Background/personality: The second son, Diego was always very, very jealous of his older brother - the Golden Child. He didn't fall into the realms of rebellion like many younger brothers did, outside of bleaching his hair, but he was forever competing with his older brother, taking as much from the other boy as possible. This continued right up until his brother got engaged and Diego, madly in love with his future sister-in-law, killed him. Rather than send him to prison, his family sold him to the Palace as a lesson in humility. The lesson was wasted.

Diego is very exacting and possessive. If he feels he's not being treated as well as others or being shown as much attention, he'll interrupt whatever interaction is going on in whatever way most assures that the attention is on him. He once "accidentally" spilled a pitcher of ice water on another Key and a Master simply because they were having sex and he wasn't. He's always civil, although his tone can go very snide and sarcastic when it won't endanger his image as a good Key.

Room: Diego's room is a magpie's nest. On the surface it's very ordinary, very urban. There are movie posters on the wall from classical movies (his one massive weakness), a beige carpet with green flecks, and a double bed with a comfortable quilt on it. If you peer into the nooks and crannies on the bookshelf, along the sound system, etc. you will find little knickknacks that he's filched from other Keys in his frequent, if mostly quiet, fits of jealousy. At least once a year the staff gives his room a thorough shake down and he's always quite sullen for at least a week after.
