The Anti (Wrath) Key Description Trained by Kiale (sborths@yahoo.com) Real name: Pala-ani Age: unknown, but somewhere in his mid-fifties Physical appearance: He has long black and grey hair, always messy as it is never combed. He has a stubbled grey beard, and red eyes that tend to glow; adding to his scruffy, half-wild appearance. Background: No one can remember where Pala-ani came from or how long he has been at the palace. There is a fairy tale story of a page gone insane when he fell in love with the key he tended to. No one knows if this story is true or not, but there are those who think it is, and that Pala-ani was the unfortunate page. Regardless, he is mentally ill, and the palace has found a way to exploit and control his insanity. Quarters: When he is between masters, Wrath looks and acts relatively normal. He likes to sit on the rocking chair and read or write. In fact, he is a mildly successful author- having penned a mystery series under another name. When he's not immersed in books, Pala-ani likes music, and plays the guitar and sings beautifully. Pala-ani has the standard three rooms, living room/kitchen, bedroom,
and bathroom. All of these rooms are sparsely furnished, except for
the bedroom which holds his rocking chair, bed, books, and guitar.
What he lacks in creature comforts he makes up for in a big way: Pala-ani is the only key that is ever allowed to leave their quarters, it is a necessary part of his existance, and the palace has made a special concession for him. His job at the palace: He has the ability to tune into a person after they wear his key. This ability is ineffective if they simply hold it, but once the key is placed around someone's neck (it's held on a gold chain necklace), that person becomes marked as wrath's next victim and he can track them anywhere, even after they remove the key. He takes great joy in hurting his victims. The more they cry or
beg him to stop, the more aroused he becomes. He brutally rapes them, taking
great care that they receive no pleasure at all from the act. After that,
he beats them, sometimes for hours, until
Because of its' very nature, the wrath key is kept secret from most
of the palace and the general public. Occasionly, a buyer with a lot of
money who has heard of him through unofficial channels will come to the
palace. The buyer usually wants to buy wrath as a
