The Phoenix Key Description

Trained by TimberWolf (timberwolfcanada@hotmail.com)

Name: Trey
Age: 19

Appearance: Trey is about 5'7" tall. He has the stocky, well muscled build of a man twice his age who's spent a lifetime at hard labour. He has bright red hair that glows a fiery orange in the sunlight, and unusual honey-gold coloured eyes. His hair is short, not even reaching his shoulders, and is a mass of riotous curls, almost giving the appearance of flickering flames when he moves about in the light. He has a very fair skin tone, which tends not to tan in the sun, but only freckle and eventually burn.

Distinguishing Features/Markings: Trey has a multitude of scars over every part of his body, most of which are well healed but still visible. The most obvious, and striking, is an angry slash running from his forehead above his left eye downward, dividing his eyebrow and continuing to run down across his left cheek toward his ear, though his eye itself is undamaged.

Clothes: Trey is allowed very little clothing. Most of his garments are limited to loose-fitting cotton trousers, easily removed and if necessary, easily replaced.

Special Gifts: Trey's gift, though it may also be his curse, is his naturally rapid healing. Injuries that would take weeks or even months for a normal man to recover from are healed in a matter of days. This has attracted some of the most sadistic Masters, who need not fear permanently damaging the Key.

Experience/Specialties: Trey has had a great deal of experience with the darker, most painful side of life as a Key, but almost none with the potential pleasure and joy that being a Key in the service of a kind and loving Master can afford.

Personality: Not surprisingly, Trey has trouble trusting people. While his body heals quickly and completely, his mind and his soul have not. Every day he becomes more and more psychologically wounded and ragged. He has short bouts of anger and resentment, which only tend to earn him even harsher treatment. These are often followed by longer, deeper bouts of depression. Trey is gradually losing the will to care about others or even himself.

Hobbies/Interests: At one time Trey had a curious and eager personality and loved exploring many different interests, but has gradually lost any will to pursue such things.

Environment: Trey's rooms are not particularly luxurious. There is a large bed, with iron rings set into the wall above it. There is a fireplace on the opposite wall and a small table with a single chair next to it. On the other side of the fireplace are more rings set into the wall at various heights. At the foot of the bed is a large wooden chest with various whips and chains and other "toys" in it. Behind a curtained doorway, there is a bathing room, almost as large as the main room. In it there is a large sunken tub, a small chamber pot, and a number of benches and racks upon which a person could be secured in a variety of positions.
