The Cursed Key Description Trained by Neko (sumeragi_subarukun@yahoo.de) Name: Felicien Age: about 17 years Appearance: deceptively slight build; he ist tougher than he looks. Felicien has a very beautiful face that seems almost too perfect to be that of a human; it looks more like that of a porcelain doll. The only flaw in it may be the incredible sad look of his eyes, but depending on the beholder this can also be an additional appeal. Height: 175 centimetres Skin: very smooth and fair, blushes easily Eyes: huge, a liquid green with a purple ring just around the pupil Hair: some unbelievable shade of blonde that shines either like spun gold or silver depending on the light. Its wavy mass reaches Felicien's waist and is usually tight to a plain ponytail. Clothes: a floor-length wizard-like robe made of black satin with a hood and wide sleeves, a silver chain around the waist and matching black boots. Specific features: Felicien isn't called the Cursed Key for nothing. Nobody knows why, but if a master stays with him for longer than three days, this person is doomed to die within the next week. All of these sudden deaths were sad accidents and may have a very simple explanation, but as time passed neither the Palace management nor Felicien still believed that they were just tragic coincidences. So the Palace Management strongly advises every new master not to stay longer than said three days and warn them of the possible concequences, but most masters ignore this once they have seen Felicien's angelic face. The same tragic fate occurs to masters that only stay three days, but come back to get the Cursed Key a second time. Character: because of this curse that haunts his life, Felicien has almost forgotten happiness. He feels incredibly guilty for his masters' deaths, believing that it is somehow his fault. When a new master arrives, Felicien tries everything to convince him to leave after three days, but most of the time these attempts are in vain. Felicien has grown rather bitter, hoping that his sullen attitude may put off the master. But that doesn't really work, because even a sulky face makes Felicien look like a pouting angel, his sad eyes clearly showing the worry and pity for his master's life. The only thing he wishes for is to let the curse end and be able to stay with someone for longer than 72 hours. But now he has almost given up hope that this will ever happen. After realizing that his masters' deaths were somehow connected to him, Felicien has attempted to commit suicide a few times. But the Palace management has a sharp eye on him, controlling his well-being every hour and depriving him of everything that could be used for suicide. Felicien fills all of his free time with reading. His library mostly consist of books about curses and magic in hope of finding a possibility to end the curse. Past: Felicien can't remember anything before his time in the Palace. He came there when he was about twelve. The only hint he may have are some strange dreams that haunt him again and again, but he can't make any sense out of them. Experience: Due to his beauty and the necessity of constant change of masters, Felicien's experience is very high. Being aware of having company for only a very short time, Felicien tries to enjoy it as much as possible. At first he is very cold to his masters, hoping they will loose interest in between the given time, but once the master has expired it, Felicien is eager to please as much as possible. Room: a very high, vast chamber with impressive stone walls that recall medieval times. The walls are decorated with beautiful tapestries showing magic protection symbols. The floor is made of black marble, the ceiling is painted dark blue with silver stars. There's a big canopy bed with dark blue satin sheets in the middle of the room, the bedposts are marble angels with mourning faces. Matching, old-fashioned chairs and little tables are decorated all around the room. A little hidden door leads to the bathroom. It's completely made of black marble, decorated with angel statues, and gives a rather morbid impression. Key: the key itself is a round silver amulett in the size of a big coin with charms and good luck symbols engraved in it. The owner just have to press it against the matching symbols carved in the door to get inside.
