The Feather Key Description

Trained by Topaz (scribbles_n_such@hotmail.com)

Physical: His masters call him Feather after his key name but his real name is Felipe. He prefers only to be called this by people he trusts.

Feather is rather tall with a thin build. He is slim and leggy with a fine bone structure. The way he holds himself and moves is elegant and poised.

His hair is a dark auburn and long. He keeps it tied back.

Feather's hazel eyes change color depending on his mood. They are set in a sharp aristocratic face.

His voice is a distinctive feature, cultured, soothing almost hypnotic at times.

Feather's age is guessed to be 24

He has a number of clothes but mostly he wears loose poet shirts (made of silk or satin sometimes cotton if he's not with his master) over formfitting pants. Since he can't leave the palace he doesn't wear shoes. He has one pierced ear in which he wears a drop earring.

Personality: There are two main aspects to his personality. One: he is a survivor. Secondly: he is a sensualist.

He is determined to survive and to do so uses whatever means he can. He is a master of adapting and manipulating. He can be charismatic and charming when he wants to be, playing whatever part he believes will serve him best. For the most part he is sneaky, conniving, self-serving, evasive, cunning and very, very patient. He is always plotting and planning to make things suit him.

To his masters he will get away with what he can but is well aware that he is the slave and must be careful. Most of his masters find him rather effete and harmless.

Whatever face he presents to his masters what he feel underneath is often very different.

Though he has learned the art of bending without breaking he feels superior to his masters.

As worldly and cynical as he is he harbors a fear and loneliness that he tries to ignore, as he believes that there is nothing he can do about it. After all who is going to help a Key? Who would care? He has stood alone for so long it's all he expects.

When he feels unthreatened he revels a wicked sense of humor and an aggressive personality. Also though he lies to others he is unusually self-honest even if it is not something he wants to admit. One of the things he admits about himself is his sexuality and love of pleasure. He finds no shame in honest physical pleasure or in simply touching.

Thanks to a past incident he has an almost crippling fear of being restrained. He also hates being publicly embarrassed. He hates his life at the palace.

Environment: In the bedroom the large circular bed is the focal point of this room. The color scheme is rich golds and maroons. The carpet is thick and luxurious. On the walls are mosaics of birds.

The bathroom consists of a large bathing room and a sauna. There is also a massage table as Feather is an exceedingly exceptional masseur. The colors are white, green and blue. There is also a continuation of the bird motif.

The living room also doubles as a library with large shelves and many books. There is lots of lounging room with high backed chairs and sofas.

The garden is a subset of the main garden. In the center is a flower-covered gazebo and in one corner there is a pond. There are a great many birds in the garden, which Feather feeds. In the main garden you find collections of bowers and hidey-holes along with meeting places and open walks.

Hobbies: Feather loves to gamble, cards, dice or chess. He rarely plays with his masters as he has a tendency to win.

He is helping one of the other Keys organize the library.

Gardening is another thing you can sometimes find Feather doing.

He used to love horseback riding but is no longer allowed to practice.

Feather's main hobby is learning things from the other Keys. For example he learned some fencing from one of the other Keys recently and continues to practice it among other things...

Background: Feather was an illegitimate son of a powerful family. He developed his abilities to survive while growing up but in the end he was not quick enough and one of his brothers sold him to the palace.
