The small god runs the forests with his beloved twin, Marrone. Together they oversee the cycles of life and death, the circle of nature, the constancy of the seasons.

Short and slender, Verde rarely wears any coverings other than his long, brown hair. His eyes are green and most often rest upon Marrone. His skin is tanned, his pleasure causes flowers to grow and bloom upon any surface.

He shares his twin's joy in the satyr and the centaur and protects Marrone with a fierceness belied by his size. The way to find this god is to sing to him and his twin anywhere nature is present -- fields, forests, garden.

His beloved is Marrone, to whom he is entirely devoted and there is room in his heart for his brother Turchino, who's water and sky touch his and Marrone's earth. Though other gods can easily provoke him into interest.
