Lord of the Sea and the Sky and the storms that play between the two, Turchino is the most emotional of the gods. His moods come and go, often leaving destruction in their wake as they are likely to manifest as hurricanes, tornadoes and lightning storms.

He is happiest in the arms of his children, the mermen, who are devoted to him.

He is tall and thin with hair the colour of darkest blue and eyes that reflect the colour of the sky and sea. He floats among the clouds and waves in nothing more than his skin, but wears a simple blue robe when walking the earth.

He loves Violo best of his brothers, though Marrone and Verde have a strong place in his heart, but it is his mother to whom he turns for solace when his moods turn dark.
