Note: Come on, folks, read on - it's not what you may think. Am working on a
sequel, but story can stand on it's own.
It was late in the evening. Qui-Gon had been fallen fast asleep on the
bed in his and Obi-Wan's quarters at the Temple. His apprentice had been
out on an errand, and he didn't expect him back any time soon.
"What the heck ...?". Qui-Gon was startled and gently rolled over on the
bed to find an unexpected presence, reaching out to him, by his side.
It wasn't his trusted Padawan, but the presence was strong, urgent as
he felt a gentle rubbing against his naked body. Ah, yes, it was her!
Absentmindedly he let his fingers trace the delicate spine of his
bedmate - warm, soft to the touch. She was sleeping soundly, yet for
some unknown reason Qui-Gon could still hear her voice singing in his head.
Soothing, reassuring. Was that what made him fall asleep that night, he
wondered. He moved closer.
It had been only a few days ago that Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan ran into her
outside the Temple. Many knew her simply as Lily. "She is dangerous, Master,
can't you feel that?". The younger Jedi had tried in vain to talk some
sense into his Master. "The ones like her are known to be strong with
the Force, she will do anything to manipulate your actions!", Obi-Wan
pleaded to no avail. Starting to feel a slight physical discomfort in her
presence, Qui-Gon's apprentice tried to shut out of his mind the possibly dreadful
ramifications of their encounter.
He saw infatuation growing steadily for her in Qui-Gon's eyes, and the
young man made his Master promise, onto all that his Padawan meant to
him, not to let the situation get out of hand completely. Only then had
he reluctantly agreed to let go of his animosity for her.
Lily started to press harder against Qui-Gon's exposed body, eventually
starting to daintily nibble at his ear, his nose, picking up again that
strange, outworldly song of hers. The Master Jedi was defenseless,
didn't want to put up any resistance. Just wanted to get lost in the
moment! He started to caress every inch of her slender body, feeling the
warmth radiating from her, simply giving in to that melody of hers. What
would Obi-Wan think if he knew of the closeness Qui-Gon was sharing with
her that instant? Had he not promised, didn't they have an agreement on this?
Qui-Gon was too enraptured in their little play. He wrapped his arm around her
and crooned "Come to me, my little one!", picking her up effortless onto
his chest. She obliged without hesitation.
Stomach to stomach, he looked into her eyes - dark, green, so deep one
could easily loose oneself in them. He sight slightly, this was the
moment ...
The door to their quarters opened.
"MASTER!" Shock and disbelieve vibrated through Obi-Wan's voice. "You
promised! I am gone for a day and I find you like this?! You know full
well what that will do to me."
Before he could help himself he started to sneeze, not once, not twice -
dozens of times. With arms stretched out at full length, he grabbed
Lily and set her out into the hallway. "Shooo, shoo, you stupid cat!" he
hissed.
Qui-Gon disliked the sudden separation immensely. He stood up from the
bed and put on a tunic to cover himself. A still sneezing Obi-Wan
returned and looked onto the bed with obvious disgust: "Now look at
this, Master, it's a mess! Cat hair all over! Just for how long have you
been going on like that?".
His Padawan was right, in their little escapade Lily had shed quite a
substantial amount of hair onto the sheets. Qui-Gon knew when it was
time for a Master to admit a mistake. "I know, I promised not to let her
sleep in our bed.I am sorry, Obi-Wan!" He sheepishly tried an excuse
nevertheless: "But what was I supposed to do, being here alone, without
my Padawan to hold me?".
He drew the still sniffling apprentice closer towards himself. "We will
find a healer tomorrow to get a remedy against your allergy. In the
meantime ...". Qui-Gon drew Obi-Wan closer still and planted a gentle
kiss onto the youth's lips, "... I have some remedy of my own for you!"
